May be just a coincidence I guess. Also to Squall: Shaders don't have anything to do with resolutions (720p, 1080p). Nintendo could unlock 720p on the Wii and still have a nice performance (if they wanted), as games like Galaxy run at 60 frames per second flawlessly. It could run at double the resolution at half the frame rate.

According to the ban line it's for racism. Maybe Racism for not having the common decency to treat TEV's as shaders. Why segregate WHY! (Or it could just be another thread.)

Cause we haven't seen any "FF13/MGS 3 on Xbox 360" "Bioshock/Mass Effect on PS3" threads.

FFXIII, MGS 4 (Not 3) threads are much more prevalant than the bioshock/me on PS3 threads.

I'd guess the only reason they are less is because it's a lot easier to dismiss a PS3 port by citing PS3's userbase not being worth as much of an invesment. There are threads like this for every console, because people who only want or could only afford one console would enjoy as many good games as they can on the system they want. It's basic human nature. Singling him out seems rather silly when it's done for every console. Seems espiecally weird on this particular topic since Orange Box on the Wii is possible with the only thing holding it back is that Valve doesn't want to do it. Unlike Bioshock, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy 13 and MGS4 which are pretty much 90% console exclusive for sure. Now the RE5 on Wii thread... THAT is a silly one to get on Wii users about. That has about as much chance of getting ported to the Wii as Lair.

Am i the only person who is sick of hearing people say the wii controls are more immersive? They arent immersive. I never feel more part of the game with the wii controls. I actually find playing time crisis in the arcade much more immersive. Im basically just holding a remote control and pointing it at a tv. Dont get me wrong its a little better than the analog but its no where near as good as a mouse and keyboard. As for a wii port I say sure why not. But its not gonna happen. There are certain games that just wont go on the wii. I dont see the orange box attracting wii's more casual crowd. Most hardcore gamers have several consoles and most likely have already played the game.

Look if the old xbox could run HL2 original why would the wii have a single problem? I think it would not take much work. Hell dont add the multiplayer I could care less. All we truly want is portal, and all the normal HL2 stuff. But yea team fortress would work just fine. Im guessing the main reason is the very small space on the Wii for updates. They need to make a fuckin HD addon. That would solve alot of online issues with the Wii.

I had a thing just a couple weeks ago asking if Portal on the Wii was possible. I got "yeah, pretty much, might not use the highest settings, but everything is doable"

Then Onimusha12 comes along and asks about the orange box and he gets 4 pages, arguing about TEV shaders and framerate drops and friend codes and racists are already getting banned. YAAARRR!

Okay, just had to get that off my chest. I guess I just make it too hard to get a good argument going or something. Carry on people, I'll leave it to you to keep the lifeblood of the forums flowing. I'll just do my best to help prevent a heart attack.
