Alan Wake :)

I'd have put Rage under very likely if it came out next month, but the release date is sometime in the middle of September. Furthermore it's a new IP and it's more of a singleplayer game.
I think Brink has better chances to reach 1m this year.
Portal 2.... that's really hard to judge but a lot of people bought The Orange Box and got portal Still Alive and this time it's a full fledged game with a full co-op campaign. Needless to say it's surely going to be a GOTY contender and coming out next month. Should be enough time.

Rage is a lock to hit 1 million before the year is over. 500K first week and then it's got steady high sales over the whole Holiday season. As a comparison, Fallout New vegas was over 2 million before 2011 was over, now Rage while a new IP should be able to do half of that easily.
Portal 2 same thing, easily 1 mill before year is over. Hype is big and reviews are going to be crazy high.

These 3 games too are locked to sell over 1 mill before end of year.
^also won't the PS3 version of Portal 2 impact the 3go version's sales? Many multconsole owners would likely buy ps3 version over 360 version.

I hope you're right but I have my doubts. I don't doubt for a moment the scores will be high and the hype is huge... within the online gaming community. But I dunno, Portal 2 feels like it could easily be one of those titles with amazing word of mouth, amazing reviews and yet sell below 1 million. I really hope I'm pleasantly surprised by the sales though, the first one deserved millions in my eyes. |

So no single game from 2011 has hit one million yet? I'm pretty sure Homefront has.
We also have a few games from 2010 that were near one million or hit one million.
? I'm confused.
It's just that simple.
