@Pavo

Well thank you kind sir!

@Radiant

Well, you're a little late to the table my friend. Patapon already offered me bribe money to get Patapon 3 on the charts. You'll just have to wait.

@Darth

Thanks a lot...

But you don't write news stories...or do you? lol

Yeah... you caught me.

I'm a features writer. But really, that's exactly what I want. ^_~

If you ask me the Japanese have a very good taste in games. Explains why their country cotinues to make the best ones.

That is of course my opinion :)

We have a news section? really?

I believe Brett is trying to diversify, turning this site into one of the top, if not the top, videogame sites in the industry, so he has multiple silos up.  I would say though, if he is going after news, he needs to have professionals there, not fanboys doing the editing.  He does it wrong, he has someone with more of a partisan agenda than Matt Drudge does.  Go to DrudgeReport.com to see what I am talking about.

I stopped reading after the "Kinect kills old 360s" or whatever it was titled. Hilariously bad put together article.

Aha!  That's the one I was thinking of from my earlier post.  I didn't really read the news much before that so they didn't lose much when I said I'd likely never read the news section again, but that was probably one of the worst stories I had seen in a while and made me a bit embarrassed for the site.

It was on the same level of stupid that the Fox News Bulletstorm story was on.

yeah, that was really kind of embarrassing. The fact that it came from the head editor kind of just stabbed the site's credibility in the face

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

I'm shocked you haven't realized that earlier.

But then again, whats the ultimate purpose of a news article? To inform people? Or to gather clicks and traffic on the website despite of whats written?

If you write your stuff in a way you can have more clicks -> more traffic -> profit.

Many articles are due to get many comments and discussion, thats what is wanted.

Personally, I don't pay much attention to articles, except for Jacob's (thesource) analysis on sales and predictions.

Man i get banned because i simply stated my opinion about a game i actually OWN and my dismay in it. I still can't believe it, how do any of us stand a chance against "fanboy moderators" and you know damned well they exist. I thought this was a pretty cool site......but i can't even state my opinion on my own game because a moderator happens to like it ? I just don't know what to think anymore.

Everything is an "opinion" so that excuse just doesn't cut the mustard. You broke the rules fair and square, can't go around aimlessly calling games crap.

You'll get banned again btw, not allowed alts.

lol fanboyism never crossed my mind in that article. hmmmm i dont think its that serious.
