I'm so glad GH is gone. I never liked  it :(

hmm.. I'll never understand these  comments - what kind of harm has the game done to you that you are "glad" it's gone ?

It hasn't done any "harm" to me, I just personally never saw the thrill of the game. GH was just something I could never get into either. Hopefully they can dedicate their time and resources into more innovative IPs.

I'd hate to be at parties and people were like, "Omg, let's play GH!" I would leave at that point, lol.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

True Crime looked so promising. Activision are a bunch of dumbasses. FPS is all they think about and soon they will have no variety.

GH 3, GH4, GH5, GH6, GH: aerosmith, GH: metallica, GH: van halen, GH: smash hits, all of that in just 3 years, dont tell me than they really though than all the games were going to sell like gh 3... they really kill GH, not today, but during tha last 3 years. We all were expeting this, i cant see how they didnt see it coming or just didint care. I hope that they think about it again, because call of duty is the next.

I am such a big fan of the music series, and to be fear, i have gh 2, 3, 4, 5, rb 1 and just bought rb 2 3 months ago and thie last one its the best game of all since guitar hero 2, even better, it was the real sequel. havent played rb 3.

RIP Guitar hero (2005-2010 [cant belive what they did in just 3 years with the franchise])

Activision still has that partnership with Bungie that should be profitable and (semi-)annual CoD's will keep them in decent shape.

There's also a major Spyro revival planned, a new Spider-man game, more new IPs in the works and of course their real cash-cow (Blizzard).   Activision's going to do fine financially, and putting Tony Hawk & Guitar Hero to rest (for awhile) was probably a smarter move than anything.  Shame about True Crime though.

After how MNR sold, I can't really see this happening.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

It was also released in mid-summer, which is like the worst launch time possible. Not to mention no advertising at all. It has pretty good legs though, still selling. I don't think they are that disappointed TBH.
