I left my ps2 collection behind when I moved from Europe to Canada as it was all PAL region locked :( It was soon after Ico was released, so I immediately bought the NTSC version over here to finish the game. Don't regret at all paying twice for that game, and will buy the HD ico/sotc collection as well :)

Too bad I don't have ffvii fvviii and fvix anymore, the first jak and dexter, ratchet and clank, the original burnout, mgs 2, silent hill 2, and many others.

Just bought Shadow of the Colossus at a good price.  I never gave much thought to my PS2 before this week but now, I am checking out the game collection and I am finding A LOT of good ones.  And the ones I have (Ico, Final Fantasy X and XII) have aged very well. 

So, the collection so far:  Ico, Final Fantasy X et XII, Silent Hill 3 and Shadow of the Colossus.

Next objectives:  Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy X-2 and I would be happy to find the Fatal Frame games at a good price (from what I have seen, I can keep dreaming, but I thought the same thing about Ico, so...).

I have read some comments stating that the PS2 is the best console ever made.  From what I am seeing, they might be right.

Don't worry when I get the Ico collection I'll upload videos of it,so you can have a small taste of what you'r missing out on >:D.

I have a wii too so no matter what you can't come back at me >>>:::DDDDDD

I may want to check out Dragon Quest VIII and Persona 3/4 if you liked FFX.

Don't be surprised by the battle system in DQVIII. It will look very simple at first but it gets very deep later on.

Persona 3/4 are simply amazing in every way.

You must also try Dark Cloud 2. The cel-shaded graphics made it aged very very well.

And there's also of course Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2.

Thanks for the suggestions.    I am going to check out Persona and Dragon Quest since I am a huge fan of RPG's. 

The Kingdom Hearts series seems...different to say the least. 

Well, the list keeps on growing.  Again, thanks for the suggestions.  Just spent the last 2 hours of FFX and still impressed by all of the aspects of the game.  I have not been taken in by a game as much as this one for some time now.  I had fun with Dragon Age, but the cast of characters, interesting as they are, don't match up to the ones in FFX. 

So many games...so little time...Well, if this is my biggest problem right now, I must be living a good life.

PS2 is still a very very atractive console.

Too bad the PS3 slim models are not retro compatible. 

Save  your money, X-2 may be one of the biggest disappointments on the ps2. I loved X and was super excited about X-2 when I heard about it.  The only thing this game managed to do for me was annoy me to hell and lessen the experience and story of X.  

 I always log to type this "Shadow Hearts Covenant is the best RPG in the PS2" ...   ...

 also I agree with gergroy about FF X-2,  only played that game for about one hour and never played it again.
