Bioshock. No game has more atmosphere then Bioshock

How the F**K could I have forgotten Bioshock!? Awesome game!

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories - although too short, I got really into the story and the little changes that occurred through each playthrough were a nice addition.

Syphon Filter 1-3 - Holy shit! What can I say? I played through these games tons of times back in the day.

No More Heroes 1 & 2 - Probably my favorite new IP of this gen. The character are hilarious and the overall style of the game is awesome.

I'm more of a single player guy myself, so I've always had a preference for games with great single player experiences.

But I have to say that I just love the single player experience that Sonic & Knuckles provides. Greatest game in the world I tell ya.

This generation, my favorite single player experience has to go to Super Mario Galaxy 2. The amount of fun in that game is out of this world (pun!).

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Mass Effect

Gears of War

I can't choice just one so I would hae to say, FFIV-FFXIIII TO VC, Xenogears, VP1 and VP2, Dark Chronicle, RG, DQVIII   and MGS1-4 and MG1 and 2 PS2 versions of the MSX2 Games.

Of cores my number 1 and 2 being No.1FFX and no.2 MGS4

MGS4 awesome Story Trailer

Really? gears of war?

MGS4 for me

2nd: Uncharted 2

3rd: inFAMOUS

Regarding Heavy Rain though...I must say that there were some moments in that game that were more intense than I have ever felt before in any other game I've played. Def deserves props, great game.

Many Final Fantasy were quite unforgettable, but I think Metal Gear Solid 2 is my the most insane 1-player experience I've ever had. The scenario outperforms every game or movie I've seen.

It's hard to choose for me.  There's Final Fantasy X, the Kingdom Hearts series, Metal Gear Solid series, Legend of Zelda series, Beyond Good and Evil, Persona 4, God of War series, Resident Evil series.

I agree with pretty much everything that was mentioned above. One thing that I would like to note is that it is amazing how under appreciated the N64 was considering it has at least 5 games that come to mind that rank as some of the greatest games of all time and it didn't have anything even close on the competition during its generation. (mario 64, goldeneye, Ocarina, Banjo, Perfect Dark)

The N64 had several very good games, but it also had very few games in general. After 3 and a half years, there were only something like 82 games total on the console.

Banjo Kazooie remains my favourite 3D platformer; but I was disappointed with Mario 64, it didn't blow me away as promised; at least not in the same way that Super Mario Brothers 3 and Donkey Kong Country did. Although Ocarina of Time succeeded, and was another one of those ultra-hyped games that lived up to the hype for me; I can't think of one that has been released since.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
