Solid opening for GT5 then. But it will be interesting in the coming weeks to see how it drops off. That will give us a better idea of the type of legs we can see from it. GT4 sold almost 50% of it's entire sales in the first month (4.4m). And that was not even in a holiday period. This time round GT5 has the holiday period to sell to. If it hasen't reached at least 4.4m by jan 1st then i think it will struggle to get to the 10m mark. I think most peoples view of around 8m lifetime could be quite likely.

Well,4M is locked by year's end.4.4M...not so sure about that,but we'll see :D

This is the best simulation racing game ever to be created, So my guess it will hold on to sell 8-10 M world wide

Halo sales can be approched , maybe not topped, But call of duty is this generation sensation so no other game will manage it.

Keep in mind that car racing games don't sell as good as they used to

why did you make it so obvious that it was you? so not professional, I have 68 different accounts on some other 29 forums and no one knows who I really am, I got paid to do this shit and I do it good.

anyway good numbers, I was expecting around 2m first week and thought that was quite optmistic, its going to be interesting to see how it sells through december.
