there are so many wrons with that movie, but two things come to mind.

1- if why would they make it cgi for this. It kills the whole the whole legacy of the cartoon

2- If they HAD to make it cgi why would they mix reality with cgi like in garfiled? That´s just wrong. If they were going for cgi they should have at least made it a full cgi movie like shrek or Up not this garbage. But hey, I guess it is cheaper to hire crappy actors than to make cgi ones.

And I thought Tangled was going to be awful... but its sitting at an 87% on RottenTomatoes. I'm actually going to take my sister to see it today.

The marketing made it look like another Shrek-like film but it is more like a Disney Renaissance film from what I heard. I am in no hurry to see it or anything but if you like any of the Disney Renaissance films and chances are you do, then I don't see why you wouldn't like it.

Just saw it, and I was very pleasantly surprised. It's got a lot more small children-centric elements than previous Princess tales, but the core is still there, and it's still solid. I'd say it's even better than The Princess and the Frog.

Heck, the "prince" (this time a cunning theif) figure is very refreshing as well. There's even some touching moments from time to time. Songs were well done as well.
