Yeah but gamecube to wii is an easy port (Gambecube x 1.5?). For a 360/ps3 to wii port it would require a change in controls, AND graphics among other things. Resident Evil 4 Wii edition could had been done in less than a week and 1 month tops.

 

And the whole if the wii can't have it then the 360 and ps3 can't is weak.  Who did capcom support with REmake, Resident Evil 0 and 4?  The 3rd placed GC.

who did Nintendo Pay the big bucks to get those Remakes, RE0 and RE4 exclusive rights? In the end RE4 was put on ps2 anyway. They announced it 2weeks before it was released on gamecube. Which definetly fucked over the gamecube sales. I knew some people that were gonna buy a gamecube (cause they were cheap at the time) just for RE4 who were PS2 owners.

You are taking this about 10,000X too seriously. It's entirely possible that we'll see RE5 on the wii, especially since we know that they have taken the time to get the controls pretty much perfect for the gameplay. However, if it doesn't show up on the Wii, it is hardly some travesty against justice, or whatever it is you're implying.

 P.S. "waining popularity"?  Who gives a shit about popularity on an internet message board anyway?

Why is everyone attacking Girl Gamer Elite simply because she'd rather not have to pay about $1000 or more to get all the consoles in order to enjoy all the good games this generation (and would like RE5 to be on the Wii)?

cant wait until I can play this on my PS3.

I would prefer a new RE game for the Wii so that it is top quality rather than a half-arsed port. I'm pretty sure RE6 will be PS3/360/Wii.

The stupid part of it is that Capcom just released two RE games on the Wii and now the 3rd one is going to NOT be on the Wii. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I don't expect them to suddenly start releasing Gears of War games on the Wii or the next Uncharted. Forcing your fanbase to buy multiple consoles to buy your games is pretty much the worst thing you can do to them.
