Me wants Super Metroid 2

Actually they had a great idea for Corruption, but ended up going in another direction that more closely resembled the others in the trilogy.  Originally they wanted an open world (open space, actually) game where you could travel at will and choose bounties to take, like a true bounty hunter would do. 

I really loved Metroid:Other M and the Metroid:Prime series

I feel rather odd about this, because i like Prime one order of magnitude more than Other M, but Other M felt generally fresher than Prime 2, and i would only rate it ever so slightly worse than Prime 3. I support the Other M side in this case because i see more potential there, though if Retro could make another Prime closer to Prime 1, i would be all over that.

i'd have to play other m first, but i already know that i don't want to see another prime-style game for metroid. i might change my opinion if other m is plays nasty as hell, but thats my stance for now.

I'd like to see over-the-shoulder gameplay with a little bit of story...but that'll never happen.

They can coexist IMO.

Like others have said we are unlikely to see another Prime due to Retro probably already being exhausted with it, but at the same time, while Other M has its merits, I'd much prefer a more traditional Metriod game in terms of story and progression.

Am I the only one that loved Metroid Prime 2? Probably.

Anyways, if Retro didn't have any ideas for Prime 4, they wouldn't have put that teaser at the end of Corruption.

I'd like to see Prime 4 on the Wii 2. Honestly, Retro Studios made Metroid their stuff.

I liked both so either one will make me happy!!!
