This would be awesome if there was an extra confirmation. Back when Dissidia got released, there were bogus scans and pics, depicting an "International" version of Dissidia, with Lightning added to the roster, which was proven to be false.

So, i'd rather wait for official confirmation for this one, since Dissidia is one of my favourite games of this gen

PSP again?

The original was pirated over 5 Million times in Japan alone.

If anything, they should release this on PS3, out of those 5 Million a LOT would buy this, and it would be easy profit!!

Ohhhh and BTW.

Lightning! Wooooooo!

Unfortunately it's on PSP again...

Would've loved a PS3 version but I guess they couldn't figure out how to get Two Players playing at the same time like any other fighting game because this is no ordinary Fighting Game and Two Players on the one screen would get hectic.

Not only this, but we would actually be able to play online worldwide, without having to go through the annoyance called Ad-Hoc Party >_>

I still remember the days using the JP version XD

From Dissidia Final Fantasy Universal Tuning.

One of Square Enix's most demanded sequels is becoming a reality. Dissidia Final Fantasy is getting a followup, Weekly Shonen Jump reveals this week.

The new game is titled Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy. In develpoment for PSP, the game will see release in 2011.

The magazine confirms Final Fantasy XIII's Lightning and Final Fantasy IV's Kain as playable characters. Aside from that, nothing is known at present.

This is very likely the mystery game Tetsuya Nomura said earlier today would be playable at the Tokyo Game Show, so we should be hearing a whole lot more shortly.

In other Jump reveal news, the magazine also mentions that Lighting will be appearing in The 3rd Birthday in some capacity. We'll have to wait for further details on this little bit.

I says in the scan. next to the big yellow text there is smaller blue/black text. The top has PSP. Also the screen shot is wide screen. Which would be either PSP of 3DS. Though with the PSP in there.. I think... maybe it's for the PSP.

As for pirating. Sure it got priated to hell, but apparently SE was happy enough with over all sales that they are continuing with another PSP release.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
