Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rare 'attacking' WiiSports dominance

Trying to beat a four year old buindled game is like trying to beat a retarded hippo at checkers. It's not exactly something to brag about.

Love and tolerate.

There is already a better version of Wii sports , it's the real thing, real bowling , real tennis, real ping pong tables, etc.  Are they really going to  have you running back and forward in your living room like  in real tennis?

Rare competing against Nintendo.

It's like one of those kung fu movies when the apprentice becomes evil and turns on his master.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Pyro as Bill said:

Hardly shocking news after the Mii clones. Rare seems to have been given the task of copying Nintendo. They successfully managed it years ago but they haven't got the talent to do it now.

I feel the same way. Microsoft just seems to have sicced Rare on Nintendo, and is leaving the effort to counter them entirely up to them, when Rare at its best worked as a complement to Nintendo, not as a copycat.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Rare following in Nintendo's footsteps, I can only hope this turns out like Banjo Kazooie,

but I know in my heart it will almost certainly end in failure

So I guess we will soon see a Donkey Kong Country clone aswell?

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints
