Personally i don't find them funny, i showed them to my friends and they didn't get it. I still don't get them!

The whole point of adverts is to advertise something right? From what i can see these adverts are just bashing the competition.

Maybe it is because i am from UK but we don't have that here. The kind of way they are doing it would be considered desperate.

I understand they are motivational adverts, that much i do get.

Carlsberg do a similar thing, without taking a swipe at any of their competitiors. If your English you will find this the best motivational advert of all time. If your from US, i doubt your understand it to well.

But it shows you can do it without being an ass, and well KB is an ass based on the adverts i seen. About as funny as toilet humour, which isn't too funny.

I'm from UK and I love them, so do my friends.

No. You?

I've had my ps3 since aug/2007. Obviously the commercials haven't done their job in convincing people to buy a ps3. lol

Just goes to show how ineffective the whole Kevin Butler ad campaign is. If the survey conducted in this thread is anything to go by (100 % of people said they didn't buy a PS3 after seeing KB commercials), then Sony really has to take the advice from their very own PSP commercials.

So the commercials don't convince a few people to buy a PS3 and it's ineffective? Last I checked, PS3 was up YOY and has been outselling 360 this year. Sounds effective to me......

@Soriku

That wasn't funny it was just AWESOME cus we have waited for that game for like decades. :P

Its like for you if Kevin Butler said "The next game I will advertise is Winkdom Gearts Shree". You'd put that word in your signature.

It's funny you would think that way considering that only one Kevin Butler advert even elluded to Wii or Xbox in any way and that one wasn't even an aired commercial as far as I know.

But just for giggles, would you mind pointing out all the commercials that apparently bash on the competition aside from the PlayStation Move teaser advert?

I'm not sure they do a very good job of persuading people to buy the PS3, or its games, but they're fun, and they own the hell out of Demon Baby and the weird octopus thing, so I'm not complaining.

NO, because i don't watch them online and then bitch about how they are played out, a catch a few while watching TV and i haven't watched them all.  If you see them all online once or more often and then start topics and reply to topics about it, of course you will get tired of them.

I like them.
