Never heard of it until now. I hate the two d-pad thing though.

It looks inferior to the Nintendo DS.
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

LOL @ this guy's comment:
"All i can say is wow.... the wiz is the best thing i have ever brought in my life.... I want to kick my girlfriend out my house so i can be with it all day and all night... maybe forever. thank you play asia"
HAHAHAHA XD
Thanks for posting this. Thank god they still make these...I thought these guys went bankrupt in 2007. I may pick this up when its around 100 dollars. I had an old GP32 back in the Game by advence days and I was happy with it.
From the quick research I did, this too is a solid device that runs circles around PSP and DS in the homebrew and emulation section. Look at all these games...which are free.

"Amiga game emulation is rock solid. You can run Atari ST games, Commodore 64, NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, NeoGeo, Flash Games and more too numerous to mention."
Wow...the fact that it runs Flash and runs on Linux makes me want to sell my PSP this moment. This device is a tech persons wet dream...
Its a little pricey but it has an Oled touch screen. Those dont come cheap.
Mythe said: Has anyone heard of the GP2X Wiz? Anyone know if it's any good, or why it's invsible in the west? |
I believe the Gamepark systems have made a name for themselves as systems that do emulators. People praise it for enabling them to play old ROMs on the go.
Handhelds geared towards emulation are niche products. There is no way around this as these are fairly low budget devices, and first party games are either crap or non-existent.
Another one worth checking out is the Dingoo A-320. I have one and it emulates many platforms very well in linux, and sells for under $90.
