MMO in a Fantasy or Sci Fi setting if it would work on 360 and not cost monthly. Make it included in Gold memberships and it could make them $. They could mini-transaction me for some weapons and armour. Won't happen though. Maybe next gen. I have no idea what servers cost.

DirtyP2002: Ninja Blade was fun, stylish and well-made. QTE's got annoying though. Never did get the straight A+ for missions. From your list AA could still use a quality IP. Lots of multis but few exclusives.

well a fantasy mmo microsoft is getting the exclusive console version of monster hunter fronteir online lol

Hmm... I have to say RPG. It seems as though MS really wants to break into the Japanese market, and RPGs do the best job of doing so. However, MS has been mostly reliant on 3rd party RPGs to sell in Japan. I think that while it may be too late for the 360, if they can get internal teams working on RPGs in both styles (W and J), then they may have a better chance, though it will still take time. I think what's hurt MS in Japan is that so many of the RPGs have seen late ports to the PS3, usually with improvements. If they can directly control more RPGs, then some Japanese gamers will start to realize that hey, not all these games are going to see PS ports, and get the system. But it will take a while, next gen will still be a seeding gen for them, and that's if they start now.

Platformer - Banjo Kazooie, Kameo, Viva Pinata

So I voted for Action / Adventure, because even though there are some exclusive games that are awesome, there is nothing on the Xbox 360 like a Shenmue or any other truely epic game. And I do love nice storys in videogames and platformer are not that great for telling deep storys.

I think Rare will come up with some nice Platformers though.

I'd have to say neither Banjo Nuts and Bolts nor VivaPinata were true platformers. Nuts and Bolts tried to mix up the genre with the gameplay revolving around vehicles and that totally ruined the experiance as a platformer. Also VivaPinata was more like Animal Crossing then a platformer. I've played Kameo and that indeed was a platformer, but it really didn't compete with the likes of Mario.

I really hope Rare brings us a new true Banjo or maybe a new Conker or maybe a fresh platformer IP.

I don't want any new IP's I want to see the market contract considerably with smaller studios and less releases, as the market is completely over-saturated all for the sake of increased revenue (and yet no actual profit).

But if they did contract to a healthy size...then I would like a new RPG in the likeness of the Elder Scrolls.

I choose RPG.

action/adventure with limited to no use of guns, or a platformer, similar to mario galaxy, not LBP or NSMBWii

I completely agree with you.  The 360 definitely has first and third person shooters down.  Alan Wake was a great addition to the library and a step in the right direction.  I would love to see a game or new IP similar to Mario or Ratchet and Clank.  Banjo was ok but it got old fairly quickly.  Problem is without "Mario" in the title, 3D platformers are a tough sell.  Even the Ratchet games didn't earn the sales they deserve...and they are probably the best outside of Mario.

microsoft needs both more action/adventure and platformers but for this poll i picked platformer. I look forward to seeing microsoft expanding their first party offerings.
