If they really want to be exclusive, they should go the Epic Mickey route and be Wii exclusive, because it's by far the best selling console, and has the demographic to match the game.

rumours say the the next KH will go to Wii, so it probably will knowing SE, thing is ever since ff versus overhal info was released i has a gut feeling it may just go multi, my inner fangirl said no because nomura wanted it exclusive, but it looks like chance are higher for ff vs to go multi, at least i am ready for the bombshell now...

I think the fact that KH3 hasn't been announced yet is the most important point. Either there is a lot of secret work being done to prep that game for a HD console or it's going to be Wii exclusive just based on time. How much longer will this gen last? Maybe 2 or 3 years tops if the next-gen handhelds are already getting ready to roll out. Is there even enough time to make a true KH sequel for the HD systems?

Sony has to take some blame for trotting these games out at E3 and other shows pretending like they are exclusives when they have no contract.



Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Honestly at this point i expect every big-name third party game to become multi-platform eventually. So i will not  be surprised if this happens. well I have all the systems so i can play this either way if its any good. Oh yea really disappointed they mentioned this before E3, really wanted to see epic meltdowns thats the second best part of the event :p

Are there any numbers on how often FFXIII was downloaded for the 360?
I can confirm how many illegal PS3-copies there are.
Another (good?) argument to stay PS3-exclusive;
You want to play it? Then you need to buy it!

My view: The 360 (MS) has just spread the FinalFantasy-virus, the PS3 (Sony) will collect when the "infected" 360-players need to buy the other platform and/or game in order to play.

They said  "There is enough deleted content in Final Fantasy XIII to make another game". Let's say that the content that was deleted was 10 GB (gamedata and videos). I know that's way less then they probably deleted, but this has to be the minimum of the standard videogame nowadays (except most Wii-, XBLA- en PSN-games). The discs already contain;

Disc 1: 5.9 GB
Disc 2: 5.8 GB
Disc 3: 6.6 GB

Not enough place for 10 GB (or more!) or they would've needed an extra DVD and an extra DVD would mean more costs for SE. I'm not sure if you're right on the developers part, because they didn't make it multiplat --> the big boys on top did that! After that the developers (the people making the game, not the ones selling it) had to delete stuff to keep the costs as low as possible.

Or am I that wrong?

The are sentences/paragraphs in my post maybe you should brush up on your comprehension, I can tell by your reply that you're one of the members who has taken in more Sony propaganda from the back then the publisher's clearing house sweepstakes. Time to lube up again kid because Wada might be coming round again for another round of penetration for you and your brethren in the extremist camp so we can once again laugh and watch you argue matters you know nothing about.

Nomura IS a Sony fanboy, but he's a developer, an important one for sure, but "just" a developer / employee. Wada runs the entire company and has bigger things to think about than just japanese nationalistic views or legacy loyalties regarding Sony, this isn't the PS2 gen, the market has changed in a big way, and SE need to adapt to maintain profit levels and relevancy.

Regarding KH3, I guess the major delays and time it's taking SE to put out FF13 and Versus 13 mean that KH3 is starting to become doubtful for this gen - maybe the only hope for a "faster development process" is non-HD, aka the Wii. But obviously, I don't know the SE internal dev structure, KH3 might be in development for years even as we speak.
