whats wrong with ODST :(?

not a chance in hell of this happening. halo series cant be killed or harmed as far as i am concerned. killzone tried,cod has tried ( alot of ppl think its better than halo3, modern warfare example. but i hated modern warfare and its sequel very much, so i dont think it can ever match halo series quality , because offline - halo wins easly,online still wins ),other shooters have also tried and failed hard. its nice they believe in its quality and what it can do, but i think the should go with what the game can do and if crysis 2 sells a ton and then everyone will want a 3rd game, so i say untill then just let crysis 2 be crysis 2 and nothing more.

The only thing that can kill Halo is 343 Studios blowing it. It may be outsold by a game or two, and it may not sell 10 million forever, but it's in now way going to be "killed" by anything except inept planning, poor development or oversaturation. If that happens, it's Microsoft's fault, not any one other game.

I don't know , I have been playing a lot of the reach beta, and except for the jack ass players who cheat and try to take the fun away, Reach looks to be superb. I know Crysis will be a good challenge, to be called a Halo Killer, I don't think so, They have a very long way to go before they dethrown Halo.

And for the online cheaters, Grow some Balls really.

I hate when someone claims their game is a ____ killer. All it does it open that game up to infinite comparisons to the game in question. From what I heard the first Crysis was a pretty generic game itself once you got past the graphics. I understand they are confident in their game but let others compare. COD4 was never touted to be a Halo 3 killer, the fans made that comparison. I think that isn't needed to hype a game.

Did someone happen to bring up "Halo Killer" again? Time for the Mercenaries 2 TV ad!

This kind of PR can only hurt their 360 nos. imo. The sales split may even go PS3 if the visuals are noticeably better. Still they got their hype in and I'm now looking forward to reviews on the game and especially the new engine.

I can't wait to hear what reviewers will say about the Story. You know all the hype from Richard Morgan saying Story will be great and emotional. He better deliver...
