Wow, this was a really bad day for me. LOL. BOTH of my teams were beaten. I think Cavs actually underestimated Boston and they paid dearly for it. Now they are in quite the difficult situation. Honestly someone needs to punch Lebron in the face and tell him to stop jacking up 3's when a defender is right there in his face. I mean honestly what the hell was that?

Sounds like they just underestimate big men in general... I mean Tim Duncan... was there a better PF ever?   Even if he IS boring as hell.

I think it was less the cavs underestimating them, and more the Cavs having a freakishly bad night shooting.  Up until about the 3rd quarter they were winning everything fundamentals wise.  They were killing them hustle wise, they were going to the line like CRAZY.

They just weren't hitting anything.  With turnover and Freethrow differentials like the cavs had in the first 2 quarters... they should of been up by 15-20.  Instead they were down by nearly as much.

Then you had of all people Rasheed Wallace waking up and being the leading scorer for Boston in the first half.

Wallace was 3/4 from 3Pt range...

He usually shoots an abominal .283%.

As for Lebron... I'd imagine he's protecting his elbow... I mean, i'm sure you noticed... even when he did drive he didn't do his usual linebacker "Force through and get the shot off" move... instead he didn't power through, he still got shooting fouls but the ball rarely went up towards the rim.  He let guys wrap him up.

I gotta think it's REALLY bothering him.

True, actually I personally may have underestimated how much trouble his elbow may have caused him.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Yeah, I forgot another way you could tell... on his dunks, they were just light dunks, not the usual tomahawks or power slams.

Should prove interesting though... if it ends up healing more over the next few days (hopefull)... Lebron could break into the classic "FU" game where he goes off for a Triple Double with 45 points.

Elbow-Gate returns, but he'll just shrug it off and continue to play. That's what superstars do. But at the end of the day, the series is 1-1 and they're heading off to the Garden. The 3rd quarter wasn't just an offensively bad quarter for the Cavs, it was a pretty terrible display of defense as well (I mean, Rondo handed the ball to Garnett for the easy bucket like... three times in that quarter?).

But other than that, who was freaking out when you saw a 25 point lead go down to ten... and then see James put up a three pointer? I mean, I'm not even a Celtics fan and I was on the edge of my seat just as mad as Doc Rivers. But they made a good run at the end that wouldn't allow Cleveland to gain more momentum going into game three. I think it'll be a great series, but in the end I'm hoping for the Celts to come out on top. Another Lakers/Celtics finals in never a bad thing.

I expect a sweep.  It's why I wanted the bucks to win last series.  I mean they still would of been swept, but it would of been a success instead of a disapointment.

I 100% agree with you, Lebron was just shooting 3s like he was Reggie Miller, but, the difference Reggie made his 3s. I still think the Cavs will win the series. It's funny how some people say that this Cavs team is better than last year, last year they swept the 1st & 2nd rounds, yesterday,  they lost to an old, but, experienced Boston team.

I do too, if Boston loses I'll have to go for Orlando like I did last year.

Also, was it just me, or did everyone think George Karl was gay for a moment when they started talking about reports from his "life partner."

I mean, i guess it was his wife/baby's mama? I've never seen that used before in a straight relationship but... Kim Van Deraa doesn't sound like a guy.
