I finished Zelda: Twighlight Princess recently and want a little bit talk about it. It was my first Zelda ever, but it was a great experience, so I want to buy some of the older Zelda-games. I liked the most running around as a wolf (feels great) and hated the most riding the horse and especially mounted fights (I really sucked at it). The world is great and I like it very much. One thing about the ending: Why they changed in the end the character-design of Midna, I liked the 'evil' design and was a little disappointed by the change. I also do not understand, why she destroys the Twilight Mirror. Any reasons for it? What do you all think about the game? What did you like, what did you hate?

Havn't finished it yet, I have two of the four peices of twilight mirror, 5 more bugs, and 15 more poes. As far as I know at this point that is all I have left to acquire.

 I always thought Midna might actually be evil or is it just the mirror doing that to him?

 I think this is the best zelda game I have ever played. I have played and beat them all (consoles, not GB) up to this point. If this is your first you really need to get the others. I have a compilation disc from the GCN that has them on it. You can usually find it for around 20-30 on ebay which would be cheaper than buying them all off of hte VC, however, you would need a GCN controller and  memory. So, it may be cheaper for you if you to buy off of VC if you do not have these.

I would try a link to the past on the snes and i think since recently on the virtual console, because i think this game was the one that set the standards for all the following ones.

what i liked the most was the dungeon in the desert, but i really liked the entire game. there are only two things that i have to complain about: one is the difficulty, i think this one really was to easy. I don't want the difficulty of ALTTP and OoT back, but being able to finish every boss with the first try and sometimes without losing hearts don't gives you the feeling that you have done something great. the other thing is the lack of story, but this is the same with all the zelda's. i mean, after hearing about the twilight mirror, you know that you have to get the pieces and that's it, you hardly talk to a person from that point. maybe story is the wrong word, i hope you understand what i mean.

Good tip with the compilation. I must look if it was released here in germany. A gamecube controller and memory card is already attached to the wii.
