Bought it, played it, and I'm enjoying it. It's definitely different from most FPS' out there, which is why I'm actually finding it refreshing rather than repetitive (I suppose its more of a FPA akin to Metroid Prime than a standard FPS). So yeah, regardless of the console I found it to be an enjoyable experience so far.

And don't listen to LastRambo, you're still a winner in my book.

Nobody should listen to HIM, not me.

i know! HIM is such a lame band

uh..lol? You're not funny.

too bad for you.

A game released early in this generation that wasn't very well received recently got a sequel on the 23rd March that was much better received and had a meaty advertising budget and despite selling to a user base of 70 million didn't enter the top 20.

Now, what am I talking about, Red Steel 2 or Just Cause 2?

Which one will we whined about?

Oh wow, LOL

Sure Enough, Red Steel 2.

i was thinking of writing a thread like this but i wasn't up for the reactions.

I couldn't make it past 3 hours of the game.

You forgot to mention the long load times and the broken shooting, thanks to the annoying auto-aim.

There was even a glitch that occurred the other day that I kept falling through the floor into nothingness everytime i opened a certain door. I had to power off the wii to get around that.

What about a proper map of the entire explored world as opposed to just the area you're in...i mean seriously everything looks the same and you'd just end up getting lost

I am playing it and I am enjoying it a lot, I have a lot of fun with RS2

On the contrary, many praised Batman AA. Sorry, but after a few hours I totally stopped cause I found it absolutely boring. Hopefully, I had bought it on steam and not at full price.

That's called opinion, and I am glad that we both have the right to express ourselves.

i didn't mention the loading time because i thought its normal in wii games (i don't own much Wii games) as for the Auto aim , why does it exist? its an FPS for crying out loud.

You might not like the game, but claiming that the Wii Motion Plus doesn't work is just ridiculous. Compare this game's sword fighting controls to anything previous to Wii Motion Plus and you will see a huge difference.

Let me guess, the controls would work much better with PS Move?

Very much what Game Informer said, except they said the Motion Plus worked well, which is why they scored it an 8(.5?).

Also, I already knew good graphics =/= good game, I own Killzone 2 after all.

opinions opinions..

It's a bit longer than normal. Especially if you are going back and forth through a particular door because perhaps you forgot something.

The game's only saving grace (the controls) struggles to make up for everything else, and even that can be a bit annoying.

But many other players like it. Even here on this site.

So don't listen to anybody ?

There is a phenomenon on the Internet which combines an individual having a strong opinion about something, with the belief that the poster has a large audience, and with a need to have significance in the person's life, which results in an individuals posting something that says, in effect: "EVERYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET IS CLUELESS!  LISTEN TO ME, BECAUSE I HAVE THE ANSWER!"  This phenomenon exists in varying degrees, and the original post could be a sign of this phenomenon existing.

Anyhow, don't necessarily listen to my word about it, but I happen to think the controls are good on Red Steel 2 (I played it and own it) and think the graphics and game world are interesting.  Is it perfect?  No.  But I think it is good for what it is.  Anyhow, feel free to listen to me or ignore me.  I would recommend people at least rent it.

i was actually basing this thread more to the people on this forum than the reviews actually, a lot of people praised it like its the best experience that no one should miss.
