I'll try hard not to embarrass myself with a rant against Diablos this time, but i've got to try hard. I'll just stick to saying 90-plus hours in (probably much more with all the quests i've ragequit since the beginning, and ragequit again, and again, and again), and i'm not certain whether this is my personal GOTY or the biggest waste of time i've ever encountered

Leaning towards the former, but Rathalos, Rathian, Gigginox, and Diablos are three very good arguments for the latter.

There's a 1 star offline/online quest were you have to find some underwater stuff in moga woods (red coral iirc). You'll have a better chance to find a jumbo pearl there soriku (I had the same problem before).

It's downright the best way to get them. Sometimes you might not get any at all but there are times i got like 3 in one go.. Remember if you go back and forth through the areas, new gathering spots will spawn

I wouldn't bother: the armor's awesome, and has some great skills, but it'll be obsolete as soon as you hit HR 30, upgrading it is a pain, and none of the pieces have any slots to speak of.  So overall, it's not worth the pain.  Which sucks, 'cause it looks awesome, and had so much potential...

Though it's not too hard, it really really hinges on finding a good group.

You don't want the two of them to get unbalanced from one another, as you'll be stuck starting off with Jaggi, Pecco, and Ludroth as your only possible prey until HR 8, even if you are far stronger than that.

I played the entire offline mode before online, and certainly created a feeling of monotony. It's almost like doing the exact same thing over again. But offline is good for the farm, and Agnos whatever (the big ship)

The only thing i wish the farm would do is keep track of time played online. I hate having to warp time popping in and out of moga woods just to make things grow all at once when i'm spending all this time playing online when they could be growing.
