Transformers is a seriously overrated series IMO. I was very glad when Avatar beat out TF2 for top sales in 09.

I'm starting to think that Michael Bay is not, in fact a terrible director, but is actually a scientist, striving to discover the limits of what human beings will willingly subject themselves to, and actually like. How anyone over 8 can enjoy the Transformers movies is beyond me.
