@jarrod and hsrob

Thanks for the replies. And yeah I always make sure that my sharpness is set to 0 on my tv. I am glad to hear that Wii games tend to look better than gamecube games on a hdtv because I was a little worried after looking at some of those games on my tv. But my gamecube isn't connected with a component cable though and I have heard there is a noticeable difference between 480i and 480p.

This product is garbage...

But if you use a PC emulator called dolphin to play your Wii games, you can get true 1080p and it looks absolutely stunning. If you have a monster Pc you may be able to hase 4 X MSAA... you know the shit Selnor and MikeB always post about. :)

That's still not digital 1080p upscale. It's going from the 480p analog to 1080p digital. Colors will still be bleeding, edge blurring, and the models (not talking about the textures) will not actually render higher.

Yeeeeey .... i dont even have a HD TV but its good for those who has one ...

what? why? it's going to end up looking worse.

You cant make 480p resolution output look good in 1080p, it just isnt possible without another video card. even then, the naive textures are more than likely in 480p or less on the disc anyway.

Wii looks best on a SD tv, this isn't going to make any improvement at all. if anything, things will look notably worse.

Exactly and that's why I play it on an SD, the rough edges and it's pixelated, it looks crap.

You guys really need to see the PC emulator running Wii games. I don't know how they do it with upscaling textures...but Metroid Prime 3 with AA aneabled and at 1080p looks better than 50% of the PS360 games.

I have a Wii in HD.

It's called my gorram Wii hooked up via component.

Ok, my wii is on a 42 large Sony Bravia. I'm having quite a bad time with the damn jaggies.

I have component cables and my wii is rightly set for HD TV but some games like call of duty

are almost unplayable...

I don't really care for graphics but the jaggies are a real pain in the ass. Anybody have some

suggestions???

The emulator is actual HD with AA and other goodies  :)

PCs are getting cheaper and cheaper so this will become a great emu for many over time!
