^lol, you think gt5 is going to sell little?

let me put it this way. even if gt5 releases next year, the year after that, or even the next generation altogether, it'll still get to 10 million. even if the game sucks, it'll still get the sales. it's like saying that a delayed mario game won't sell. it's that powerful.

I'm guessing Grand Turismo 5 doesn't exist anymore. Did terrorists take out Poliphany Digital and we missed it?

FF versus XIII should do very well, it's got the brand name backing it up.

Killzone 2 did well enough, same with Reistance 2.

You left out possible contenders like The Last Guardian, Modnation Racers and SOCOM 4.

There are also unannounced games which may release like Syphon Filter, Twisted Metal or any new IP's.

The year doesn't seem so bleak for the PS3


I'm not saying this year will be bleak. All I'm saying is God of War III will be the last PS3 game this year to receive as much critical acclaim and success as Metal Gear Solid 4.

So I suppose neither is Zelda Wii and Halo Reach by that definition. ;)

It isn't a spin off. It has it's own unique story. Technically it is a standalone game. Now if another game is made in the universe of Versus that doesn't directly relate to Versus, then that is a spin off.

GT5 is a big exlcusive. but do you think with all the delays that a lot of people will buy the game?

I bet it will do at least double God of War 3's numbers.

NOt really, GT5 is the next one. But yeah, besides that one, there's not other megaton announced so far.
