No not played it...how is it

which one last story? I think it's mediocre the music is great. I mean gameplay is sort of like a crappy kingdom hearts (which you know I don't like that much). And it's story is predictable. but maybe you will like it trollolol

Xenoblade is great, though I have issues with it, It's not my favorite JRPG this gen, and I don't think it's a league above other JRPG's this gen like others claim. i think it's like FF12 with better story, music and characters, but worse dialogue, and gameplay.

on 19 April 2012

As I expected then...I won't be buying TLS. Looking forward to finish Xenoblade though.

BTW in the time that I was gone FF8 became my favorite FF cus I replayed it.

really, not 6? say what?
FF8's been my favorite FF except for like a ear or 2... I don't like FFX as much generally because the voice acting is pretty bad. Still love it though, just the VA's wore on me.

on 11 April 2012

Yeah I knew you'd be surprised. I don't know but I replayed it and it became my best FF experience ever...I can't lie to my heart.

I don't even know why...everything combined together perfectly...the music, characters, world, gameplay & even graphics. I think the art direction made a huuuge difference..I seemed to appreciate it a lot more now.

ishiki your alive! X-2 is ommited from existence.

I still give XIII-2 8.3/10...I liked it but they ruined the battle system...that's unforgivable.

We should discuss the game in more detail!

on 10 April 2012

Why do you think so? they did in some ways. It's too easy. The making it game over if main party member dies was necessary for balance like in persona. Also, the monsters get most of the cool abilities but, that you can't control. I liked it as much as 13, because of other reasons... but I was a bit dissapointed because of that and lack of maps.

on 10 April 2012

Generally, I thought some things were a lot improved, some things were made a lot worse.

on 10 April 2012

I have no problem with making it game over if the person dies. I didn;t even have a problem with no character swapping from XIII.

The game was TOOO EASY...difficulty went out the window 10 hours in...there was no reason for me to make the ultimate monster as nothing was hard from 10 hours to the final boss.

FFXIII on the other hand consistently challenged me with differing enemies & a difficulty that stayed medium to high...that was fun!

XIII-2 would have been worthy of a 9.3/10 had the difficulty been like FFXIII's & would've then been one of my middle tier FF's...that's how much the difficulty mattered to me!

The soundtrack was brilliant, characters were great, story was okay...world design was good (but yeah lack of maps)..jumping was fun. There was so much good but the core battle system was flawed beyond belief IMO.

on 10 April 2012

It's too bad, they won't release a patch. I mean, I think it could be improved by just increasing base damage of enemies without increasing burst damage. Generally I died from burst damage... which only Class that can stop is Sentinel. There were some really fun bosses, I thought the final boss fight was really awesome. And a few others. But in XIII, every fight was pretty neat.

It didn't bother me that much, because FF's had balancing issues before. It's just a shame, the reason I liked FFXIII-lots of locations, battle system, and story. Are flaws in XIII-2 XD. It's sort of like they threw everything out the window instead of building on it.

You ended up liking serah? I liked the characters a lot, even the ones from XIII I didn't like I liked in that one... the story was okay, it has a lot of issues. But, it's interesting.

The soundtrack, was awesome, there were a few bad songs... but it was really memorable, and had a lot more standouts than XIII imo.

on 10 April 2012

The game could be improved beyond belief by a hard mode or patch..literally. But now it's too late...as I've finished it & that memory won't change. Like you said in XIII it felt like every battle was good...in XIII-2 most battles felt like a chore & boring.

But yes the final boss segment was incredible...even the dialogue was great, especially Caius' in Valhalla near the end.

Yeah XIII had better locations too..I just saw a video of palumpolum again & remembered how amazing it felt while playing Chapter 7...nothing in XIII-2 felt as epic for some reason even though Academia is better than any XIII location.

Yeah ended up liking serah a lot, loving Noel & liking Caius (even though I think his motivations were awful)

The lack of Lightning was a big downer for me...but the DLC should change that.

I think I want a FF by some team other than Toriyamas now...what about you?

on 10 April 2012

I bet that dlc will be really short... XD. But, Ideally, I think they should alternate between 2 or 3... I'm not really that excited for versus, since it's directed by nomura, and I don't like KH that much. But, by like Ito, or someone new with just a different general style yes. Also, if it's in a different style maybe will quit complaining so much, so I'm for that.

Did you play ME3? That dissapointed me a whole lot... and not the ending. haha

on 10 April 2012

Yeah it will be...but it'll be something new to the story so that's enough for me.

Nomura proved himself with KH:BBS for me...I am very hyped for Versus.

I would want Tabata to do FFXV or at least Type-0 to get localized. I am not too keen on Itou if he insists on following MAtsuno's style which I dislike.

No not played ME3, not even interested. Why is it disappointing? Make me want to play it lol

on 11 April 2012

In ME3, there is one city hub (the citadel). The dialogue is mostly cutscenes instead of dialogue wheel. The mission variety is worse. The level design is still like 2... which I forgave 2 because of other new elements... but it's the killrooms grew tiresome. The dialogue is worse, because it's too many shepard monologues. It's not a bad game, just an alpha protocol quality game (which I liked), but that's dissapointing for the end of the trilogy.

Generally, I was slightly dissapointed in almost every aspect without bringing in much new.

Still, there's some neat things involving who dies. From previous games. And since you liked ME2 and ME1, you should play it. Especially if you have a previous character build. It's one of the very few games to do this. The multiplayers fun. But the lack of modes and maps makes it kind of barebones, and I like Starcraft better :P.

on 11 April 2012

hmm sounds meh but nothing too bad! Yeah I'll get it some time this summer!

I'm interested in Dragon's Dogma ATM

on 11 April 2012

There are a number of people that love it however, like khuutra and lestatdark.

Diablo 3 - Mixed Feelings

in PC Discussion 4 days ago

The real money auction house I think is better then the previous, which was real people farming items in china for Diablo 2. Essentially blizzard gets the money, instead of having essentially sweatshops for a videogame. If I'm not mistaken, (I could be as I know little about diablo 3) all the items in the auction house you can earn in the game. I'm not a huge fan of any of the diablo however...
