Final Fantasy is dependent on the team making the game. FF10 and FF13 are by the same team. That's why they are both linear and cut-scene heavy. If you like FF12 then you won't find FF10 and FF13 similar as it's a different team. I'm glad you like FF12 and hopefully the team that made it is currently making FF15. FF13 is beautiful graphically but the game has too much cut-scenes and linear areas.

Yeah, I've played both FF10 and FF13. If you like FF12 then you won't really like those games as they are very linear and have more cut-scenes than gameplay. I personally waiting for FF15 as that game will hopefully be made by the team that made FF12.
