Did you see that Swery has a new studio already?!

      x
      YES!

I found the logo and the name charming in their own way, though I'm more happy that he recovered from that illness he was suffering and he seem happy overall.

Even if they're working on their first project already, it'll take some time, but at least he gives us something to look forward to. He can't leave twitter alone so information leaks will surely come sooner than later. xD

After Deadly Premonition and D4, I'm not sure what kind of thing he'll brought up. I hope he sticks to his detective-noir narrative, but it'll surely be fun either way.

Now I need a Suda51xSwery65 crossover and my life will be completed.

I owe you an apology for previously ridiculing some of your conspiracy theories. I don't know what the fuck to believe anymore!

      x
Hey, no worries man. At least you have the guts to own up to it.

Don't worry badge, Trump is going to do an OK job. At least he's pulling a big finger to the corrupt establishment and to me that's #1. Sugar on top: he's a great business man, he knows his numbers. Economically speaking you guys will be in good hands.

Just try to clear up all the fear and nervosity that comes from what's unknown. You guys will be fine.

I also honestly don't think he'll actually build a wall. But even if he did, who cares. If it helps america secure its borders, that's a very healthy thing for any nation's self-respect.

Haha, I know. I voted for him! Despite his lack of political correctness I genuinely don't believe he's a warmonger. You only have to look at who lined up behind Clinton to see that: old man Bush, Kissinger, and 99% of otherwise very Republican neocons.

I'm not sure if he'll end up being a good president, but at the very least he'll be hard pressed to be as bad as the last two. And, tbh, I get the sense from Wikileaks that Clinton pushed Obama into Libya when he otherwise wouldn't have done it. It's scary to me that she learned nothing from Iraq and Libya and still wants to depose Assad... and a lot of dumb people who consider themselves anti-war still voted for her as the lesser evil.

      on 10 November 2016

      x
And that's the scariest part. That she is considered as the least prone to cause war, when she's the worst.

I don't know why they want to topple Assad, but I am sure it's for the interests of some very rich people who want to get more rich. It's certainly not for democracy.

I'm glad you came around Badge. We need more people who see through the lies. And the saddest of it all are the saps who propagate the lies freely, it's free delegation from the corrupt higher ups, and they are just laughing about it.

      on 10 November 2016

      x
Yeah. I'm not sure if it's because of the proposed Qatar-Turkey pipeline, because Hillary's Saudi bankrollers want a key Iranian ally bumped off, or just because the US sees constant intervention as a way to preserve its regional hegemony. Maybe some combination of those. But it's pretty scary how they never seem to learn from their previous failures.

And scarier still how many regular people are perfectly okay with it just as long as it's done by a politician or party they like/trust.

      on 10 November 2016

      x
Yeah, it's horrible. It's like I'm seeing it every day now. Of course Trump isn't perfect, he will cater to special interests, but some people are so butthurt that Hillary didn't win that they will say anything to demonize the guy, when she was way worse when it comes to corruption.

Finished The Assignment. It was almost like a completely different game! Finally, I understand why Kidman was such a bitch.

      x
"Leslie... Leslie..." Damn, those things are creepy.

      on 15 March 2015

      x
Didn't you like those high heels?!

Also, played it on Kurayami mode yet?!

I never looked at Kidman as a bitch, but rather, a spy of some sort with a hidden agenda. She kinda spares Sebastian (twice), so I couldn't bring myself to hate her on the main campaign, but it didn't help that she apparently murders Joseph. And talking about Joseph...what did you think about the mid-game Assignment boss? It was totally unexpected for me, but I kinda like the mood, although I do not understand where that moment fits into the whole picture.

It was funny as heck using the flashlight on those Tango Gameworks snails.

      on 16 March 2015

      x
Not yet. Gonna try Kurayami today.

The Joseph fight was really cool! It did take me longer than it probably should have because I just stayed in the first room except when I went into the next room to get another axe, but I got a trophy for not using electrical devices, so I guess there's a way to speed it up. I wonder if you're going to wind up fighting the Mobius guy in The Consequence. He's pretty damn creepy. Sort of reminds me of a between Slender Man and the Illusive Man from Mass Effect.

Overall, I really like the stealthier gameplay even though I prefer the main game. The flashlight is a pretty interesting mechanic. And I felt like such a genius the first time I phoned a Haunted and then locked her in the room!

      on 16 March 2015

      x
Also, the cat. I don't know if it holds any significance (its model doesn't reveal much, as it claims Kidman does not hold any memory of the cat), but it was a nice touch to save the game. Come to think about it, for a relatively small lenght DLC, it sure takes some strong departure from the main game. Also, the Moebius character is indeed interesting. I wish they don't add him some unnecesary context or background, as sometimes enigmatic characters are as cool as fully-developed ones. The archives found in Kidman's DLC are a good way to do it, so go for it. (Also, Kidman's background is nice when you find out about her in the archives).

Regarding the electronic device, lemme warn you, they will only trick Joseph once, so if Kurayami proves too difficult, save it for the last third axe hit (wasting it on the first like I did will make everything extremely hard).

The only downside to The Assigment so far are those deaf enemies. Seriously, they're a wasted opportunity and pose no threat at all. The first time playing I was like more cautious than I should have been. Playing on Kurayami? I just sprint past them. Lantern Guy/Girl/Leslie thing? Now that's an awesome enemy.

      on 16 March 2015

      x
The... cadavers, I think they're called, at least have good visual design. They're pretty eerie looking. But all you have to do is see what pattern they're walking in and avoid them. Maybe there's more you can do with them because I randomly got a trophy for having one of them eat a Haunted, but I have no idea how I did it because I didn't really do anything or even see it happen.

I wasn't too impressed with the traps other than that phone trick. But on the plus side, at least the invisible guys got to make another appearance! It seemed pretty strange that they put that effort to an enemy they only really used once in the main story.

      on 16 March 2015

      x
Funny thing about those invisible enemies is that there are only two, and they don't appear anymore xD

I like that, though. Albeit briefly, it changes the mood, and it is always cool to fight something different for a change.
