Do people still care about Trophies / Achievements ?

Never took them into consideration when buying a game, but I did enjoy collecting trophies. However, with my limited time now, I don't really care about collecting trophies. I just play the game, beat it and move on to the next. I did promise myself that I would platinum Lightning Returns, so I can have all three XIII games platinumed....
