I'm happy that Australia, New Zealand, and other Southern Hemisphere players will finally get accurate seasons. It seems like a no-brainer that I'm surprised wasn't added in New Leaf.

Reviews are coming in and, unsurprisingly, are painting a wonderful picture of what we all have to look forward to. Seems like the only thing that will be able to hold this game's score down will be the occasional nit-picky reviewer finding fault with a system or two. Looks like the wait for this title will certainly have been worth it. We're in the home stretch now. Thanks all for following along in this coundown, and feel free to share your own excitement, or how long until the game will be arriving in your specific area.

The game has a 92 on Opencritic, and 91 on Metacritic! That puts it in Smash, and DragonQuest territory! I was expecting some pretty great reviews in the 80's range, but this is nuts! Not a single reviewer ,out of 41 reviews, has rated the game below an 8. Everybody that has reviewed this game really likes it. I'm so hyped now!

I'm excited to play it this weekend with my daughter. Can you transfer save data? She will have to start her file on her brothers switch until I can get her a switch of her own

Likely not, at least not for a while. There is a program in place that can do a one time transfer, but that is supposedely just for lost, stolen, or damaged systems. Basically, if she starts a file on her brother's Switch she will have to play on his island. If she buys a new Switch she will have to start a new island. And that is a reality whether you can transfer files or not. Even if she could transfer the file, the entire island would have to transfer. It's probably not the ideal situation, but it's what we have. Just let her know that she'll have the opportunity to start brand new on her own island when she gets her own Switch. She'll probably be so excited about that anyway to worry too much about the setback of her character's progress.
