VGC is more or less right, they are not expected to track with 100% accuracy anyway

at first i never knew MS said that and if they did that they were referring to US as they already lost the shipments lead

 

its going to be hard to make the ground up each week that goes by and seeing that BF ads are going around i find it unlikely that a price cut will occur before then leaving only 4 weeks left.  i believe that once Jan. comes not only will i be boasting about PS3s 2011 victory foreseen way earlier than any analyst on here or in the gaming industry, but i see MS saying something similar to what you said or that they were referring to fiscal year which could be possible with games like ME3 and if GTA5 releases with a X-box price cut

They can't be serious. I am actually interested in seeing what they are planning. They have been saying they will be first for months now, and the chance is looking slimmer with every week.

I put up the article. Couple things :

Just Dance 3 should be at least 320,000 but less than 550,000 based on what Ubisoft has stated recently ("trending ahead of Wii JD2 in 2010" and an X360 version this year too)

Also tried to give some historical perspective on US HW (since 1995)
