Everything pretty spot on except for DS and perhaps PS3.

Question: When VGC calculates the US numbers, do they do it by just substracting certain % from the Ameicas numbers for all consoles, or do they take into account regional differences? (e.g. substract 10% for 360 because more sales come from US but 15% from Wii because it sold better in the other Americas regions comparatively).

perhaps PS3??

As in: it depends on whether you consider a 16% difference pretty spot on or not.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

PS3 overtracked by around 40-50k, 360 by 25k and WII by 40k.

Yeah, when Nintendo do fairly crappy NPD threads are always dull

Dark Souls is the only multiplatform game in the top ten that sold more on PS3 than on 360.

Microsoft PR.

Xbox 360 also released some of the biggest excusive blockbuster games this holiday with titles like “Gears of War 3,” “Forza Motorsport 4” and “Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.”

In addition to games, Microsoft is rolling out the next generation of TV entertainment on Xbox LIVE this holiday, bringing a breadth of content providers and innovative user experiences unmatched by any other games or entertainment devices to Xbox 360 . 360 Dominates US
Disappointing PS3 numbers
Wii solid

VGC overtracking the big 3, but not by much.

Where is Microsoft Hype PR one hour before the NPD are public???
Sony is going in (PR), they will mention Uncharted "selling" 3.8M somehow

hmm... Lackluster PS3 numbers

Not bad for Wii considering it is tied with a console who literally gets all the games and third party support these days.
