Yes, most Europeans don't have a weird love connection with guns like a lot of people in the US.
Just wondering how this is related to the Olympic games though...

Figure skating is today. :D I always loved watching figure skating, I've been inspired so many ways watching it.

Yeah, due to them being lucky and not getting caught during the bad weather.
Pretty much anybody who started early got a huge unfair advatnage.

It isn't a coincidence that the 3 medalists were all in the first 10 who skated.
Regardless the sport was Norweigen invented... due to WW2 I beleive.
Though this year the Americans I guess were looking good.
Edit: Was right about the country... guess it originated well before WW2 though. Damn you Civlization 2 World War 2 mod.
I was watching the 10km biathalon. The western Europeans couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with their rifles. That is why I was mocking them.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Also, call me crazy but I just don't get into the Olympics...
back when the Olympics were transformed into an extension of the Cold War between the US and the USSR, well there was something there... though I was too young to appreciate ti.
Now though... doesn't really have the same kick... there isn't really any greater need of feeling to need to one up some country.
Maybe if the countries gambled on it or something. All i've watched is some hockey.
