Ive kept mine on from the start, never dropped it, but like Smash_Brother it would feel strange without it on so keep using it anyway.

I took it off of my main remote. The other one still has it, and the main one always gets it back on if anyone ever comes around and wants to play (I like to play it safe with other people).

Now, I have had accidents with the remote, like swinging it too far in some constrained place and hitting something while doing that. Nothing the strap could prevent, though. I just can't fathom how someone with their head in the right place could ever lose its grip and send the remote flying. Which makes the strap kind of pointless - unless you have kids around.

Reality has a Nintendo bias.

The main remote I use for 1 player games is off just for me. The other 3 have them on for other people that arn't so smart.

I took all of mine off last may, but I have had a couple insidents (once i was pissed at mario strikers charged, and last weekend, my cousin got too into bowling)

I don't really use them but I leave them on, some people just get a bit carried away when playing drunken Wii.

Dithced them.

Only use for noobs and my 6yr old cousin who ends up punching the TV (in excitement) when he plays boxing. They are a must for Warioware though!!

I leave them on for kids and non-gamers. I never use it myself anymore though.

Right about the time I bought my Nyko battery charger, those straps were outta there! Then I bought wario ware, and there is a mini-game where you needed to wear the strap.

Depends on how long I'm using the Wii. If I'm just flipping it on to check out the Everybody Votes channel real quick, I probably won't bother. Likewise if I'm playing a classic game where the controller is held sideways and there's no chance I'm sending the thing flying, I'll leave the strap off. But outside of that I like to have it on. Really don't feel like buying any new hardware, regardless of how careful I am not to throw the controller (haven't had an accident).

Prediction: Wii passes 360 in US between July - September 2008. (Wii supply will be the issue to watch, and barring any freak incidents between now and then as well.) - 6/5/08; Wow, came true even earlier. Wii is a monster.
