i loved the ttyd the most.

the n64 one was great, great story and characters, but the the game play was a little simple (ttyd added stuff like the audience and stylish moves to make it more involved and interesting)

super paper mario was great too. it was nice that it tried something new, but i missed the turn-based battles on stages (very unique), and the cut-schenes were way too long.

I havent played Super Paper Mario, but ive played and beat the prior two, and i think the N64 game is the best. The writing and pacing was very well done, and the game didnt have two massive purple distractions in it :P

I like them all A LOT but if I were forced to choose I'd probably say TTYD. It's up there with my favorite games of all time. Though Super Paper Mario was pretty damn outstanding. And good god was it funny.

TTYD is better game overall, but I just have a soft spot for the original. It's so charming, and was so unlike anything else when it came out.

I dunno wtf happened with SPM, but I couldn't even get myself to finish it. I think the dimension hopping just sort of killed the pacing, they should've just made it 100% sidescrolling.

The Thousand Years Door is the fan favorite but I like the original.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, nearly pissed my pants when I played that game for the first time. It had an awesome/funny story, like-able characters, amazing music, and fun gameplay. One of my favorite RPG games ever made, the Wii one was a HUGE disappointment for me, I never finished it...

TTYD is the best.

I loved all 3 games.

Still dunno why SPM gets so much hate.
