TTYD is better game overall, but I just have a soft spot for the original. It's so charming, and was so unlike anything else when it came out.
I dunno wtf happened with SPM, but I couldn't even get myself to finish it. I think the dimension hopping just sort of killed the pacing, they should've just made it 100% sidescrolling.
