Forums - Nintendo - Cursed Mountain developer goes under.

Formed in 2006, Deep Silver Vienna has already been closed down by parent company Koch Media. The developer's first - and only - title was the Wii-exclusive horror adventure Cursed Mountain. The game sold miserably.

"This decision is not easy for us," Koch said in a statement, going on to mention the current economic situation. Deep Silver Vienna's staff of 20 will be paid until March before being let go. It's hoped that some will land new positions in Koch Media.

Rumours suggest that co-founder Hannes Seifert has already secured a role at Square Enix Europe.

I actually liked that game =/

It is only 20 people?
That's like my 5th grade class graduating.

Odds are they will all find jobs, don't worry.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

I didn't buy the game. Now I feel horrible.

I just contacted Sproing, the developer of the game and they claim they they are alive and healthy. It's just Deep Silver, the publisher, that had to close down the office that managed the project.

Thanks for clearing that up.
