Forums - Gaming Discussion - No Towns in Final Fantasy XIII Because They Are Too Much Work.

I NEVER played a Final Fantasy game for "Towns" they are a hindrance. The only thing I EVER cared about was the Story and maybe the Battle System, which I barely even care about also. THANKS Square Enix for taking those tedious towns out of this game, or not making them at all! You saved me A LOT of time, and I can enjoy the Story a lot more thanks to that, no bullshit side-quests I have to do, like fetching some item I don't give a shit about ^_^. DAY. FUCKING. ONE.

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

That's actually the part I dislike most about RPGs. So it is not a downer for me.

Seriously, does it make any sense walking through peoples houses rifling through their stuff? and they have no care in the world that you are stealing from them. and I can't even remember 1 NPC in ANY town in FF X where you had to do a side quest. Maybe the dog on Besaid should be considered a side quest.

I'm sorry RolStoppable, i'm going to walk in your house and take your Wii + DS and keep them forever. I hope you don't mind that. You don't oh well thank you thank you! Back on my adventure of robbing every other house here!

So nobody's hometown is going to burn down? What kind of RPG is this!! For such a travesty, at least THREE people better have amnesia, dammit!!

Well SE could not be bothered adding side missions and town exploration to FFXIII to make the game more enjoyable and extend the game.

Renting or buying FFXIII to me personally would be too much hard work. Considering the sub par JRPGs Square Enix have released this generation I do not want to buy any of their games.

Maybe the DLC will be extra towns that you have to pay for. Content excluded by developers from FFXIII could of been included in the game.

No Towns in FF13, how is this different from FF10? I hated FF10 for beeing so empty and now it comes out ff13 is the same? I realy am afraid that i will turn down on the ff franchise.

Sad, but not sad enough to change my future purchasing decision.

WHAT are you talking about!? This game has about 64 sidequest missions and you can replay a lot of them as many times as you want. AND they get ridiculously difficult, which enourages you to make your team stronger so you can defeat them, not to mention the awesome secret bosses you get to fight during these Missions.

You clearly never wanted to purchase this game in the first place. And its funny, because this game is still going to be better then almost every JRPG released this Gen.

I have no doubt in my mind when this game releases, its still going to be one of the best JRPG's of this Generation, just because it doesn't have some things, that doesn't make it a bad game at all. There aren't that many JRPG's that give you an experience quite like Final Fantasy XIII. I enjoyed the hell out of the Japanese Version, and I will definitely be buying this game again on the 9th of March.

It is Final Fantasy, and Final Fantasy always raises the bar and takes the JRPG genre to another level and that is exactly what XIII will do.

FFXIII isn't a JRPG. its an RPG.
