You people are slow as hell....it took me like 4 days to beat Twilight Princess. And when I got Ocarina of Time, I got it for christmas, and I was watching the end credits while the ball was dropping for new years on tv.

Man I felt the same way. The tutorial was garbage waste of time. It was a slow start, then you get to go to your first dungeon beat it and then it slows down alottttt. You do all that running around as a wolf catching those bugs and crap then finally going to the next dungeon which was painfully boring. You play abit more and then it gets sortof better. Then as soon as you get the master sword and the game is amazing. Trust me, get to that point and you won't want to put it down.
I couldn't bare to play it after the first temple i'd load TP play less than an hour and I'd just quit and come back to it a few months later get a little farther. I was bored one day so I deside to just get past the water temple and finally got into it. I got the game mid December.. played 20 hours over the year and last week i've doubled the playing time. I'm actually looking forward to beat the game now. But i'll have to wait till after Mario.
WTF is with all the water temple hate? IMHO it was the best water temple in all of the 3-D zelda's.
Entroper...I beat Twilight Princess a month ago, after having it for sooo long as well.
I didn't hate the game though...I wasn't captured though...and quite a few other games have distracted me...I figure it's not a race...who cares when I beat a game anyway.
These games will be around for a long time...I only beat Metroid a couple weeks ago after buying day one. Excellent game...but I've been distracted by work, fatigue and other games. I figure it doesn't matter anyway...in 20 years I won't care if I beat a game in 2007 in a few days or a few months.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
wow. I loved TP. Oh well, some people just don't have patience.
I never finished it due to the time constraints of my life, but what I did play of it was really solid. I would have to say that I liked it. My son has finished it, and he loves it.
Probably my favorite Zelda all time. While the first part of the game did take a while, I thought it picked up considerably. I remember playing it for virtually two days straight since I had a hard time putting it down till I beat it.

The best temple so far in the game has been the first... goron mines was good too. Water temple was crap... as is those endless "collect the chalice water" beast mission. IMO phantom hourglass is better :X |
I am in that exact same area of the game as well. I want to finish the game, but for some reason cant find the will to do so.
