how do you intend to play the game on your first playthrough?

i am definitely going to favour the experience, and not the outcome. usually i am a perfectionist as a gamer, and would reload to get a better result, if the time investment would justify it, but in this case i am pretty sure i will get disappointed if the story and the unique experience don't get through to me, so no (manual) reloading!! ;)

as for guides... missable trophies are the only reason i would even look into a guide before or during my first playthrough of any game and i dont think that will be an issue in this game.

This game makes me want a PS3.

I picked the first one, Its no fun playing a game if you know whats gonna happen already.

Quantic Dream designed the game like they did for a reason. When one of your character dies, you're not faced with a "Game Over" screen. So, I'll do what the game wants me to do, and continue no matter how bleak things look. I'll finish the story and try to do things better next time around.

Usually I glance at trophies and see what I need to get to limit my playthroughs, but for this, I'll just ride out the first playthrough and deal with the rest.

I don't think I'll have issues playing this game over and over :)

usually i'm a perfectionist and would replay a bit to do it right but i think with heavy rain my first play through i will just accept any "bad" choices i make and see what happens. after that i think i'll replay the game to try and make every possible outcome happen. xD

Definitely gonna play it like a movie (from beginning to end). The suspense of knowing that a character will be gone forever if they die and not knowing the result of my choices. will add some intensity that would be lost if I simply reloaded.

Normally in RPGs if i screw up I will reload an old save but since this game isn't as long I will probably just accept it and do another playthrough later.
