360 will be above ps3 in USA for sure, but Japan I doubt it, and others maybe just maybe.

People always say 'saturation', but I think this is one case where it is probably really saturated. After all, it's sold to 1/4 of the Japanese population.

I think PS3 will squeak by this week and be barely over 200K.  Last week in Others, PS3 did 109K, so if Others drops by 11.9%, it'll still be over 200K for this week.  Next week is a different story though.

Wii is up! and I think Wii can do another 300,000.

Well Japan is Wii's stronghold these days.

Unfortunately, there's no way it can make up for the gigantic YoY decline in US sales...

Let's just hope that it really is due to the reported shortages.

I know but I didn't thought it was influenced by change of year...DS sold great for all 2009, now 2010 starts, with a new version (and we all know how crazy are japanes people for collecting) and it risks to sell unfer 50k? I'm just not used to these sales...but it's time for DS2! (speaking from a pure consumer perspective).

PSP is doing surprisingly not bad , 360 is doing well bad.

I think even from a business perspective it's time for DS2. It can incorporate DS1 capabilities so as to not kill off that market and it can adopt the strongest advantage that the iphone has against DS, which is the ease of buying games from the network (so it would need phone network integration). Neither of DSi's ways of buying DSiWare are particularly user friendly or convenient (credit cards and points cards), connecting to a network and using network credit is far simpler.

It had two fairly big releases and is riding the tail of Kingdom Hearts.
