August.

I'm calling it now.

Seeing as Corruption was released on the 27th and Trilogy was released on the 24th (both of 'em in August), you may be on to something.

Can't wait!

Hehe.

I'm glad you noticed.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Man, I thought 2010 was like, the best year ever in terms of gaming (particularly Nintendo-gaming), and then today we get like 3 new announcements. Can't wait for The Last Story, I absolutely loved Lost Odyssey. Nintendo sure knows how to treat us

i think may unless sin & punishment comes out in may.if the latter happens ill say july

Looking at development timelines, I'm also betting this is Team Kunai's game. They haven't released anything since Ninja Gaiden II almost 2 years ago, so it lines up perfectly.... for those wondering, here's what Team Ninja's 3 groups have developed before...

Team Kunai

  • Dead or Alive 3 (Xbox) 2001
  • Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) 2004
  • Ninja Gaiden Black (Xbox) 2005
  • Dead or Alive 4 (Xbox 360) 2005
  • Ninja Gaiden II (Xbox 360) 2008
  • Metroid: Other M (Wii) 2010 ???

Team Kunoichi

  • Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball (Xbox) 2003
  • Dead or Alive Ultimate (Xbox) 2004
  • Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 (Xbox 360) 2006
  • Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (Nintendo DS) 2008
  • Dead or Alive Paradise (PSP) 2010

Team Sigma

  • Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PlayStation 3) 2007
  • Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (PlayStation 3) 2009

That's good. I have have plenty of money during the summer.

Well, sometime last year there was a rumor going around that they were trying to go for a March 2010 release date in America. I don't know if that rumor is true, but just something I heard. Granted, since I can't even remember the source, it might as well be false by now.

Like with all Nintendo titles, I'll be fine with them taking as long as they want with it.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Pretty sure that rumor came from the fact that they, for some unknown reason, show the numbers "3" and "25" (I think it was 25) next to eachother at the end of the trailer, up by the missile counter ... For like no reason. It would be a really cool way to show a release date, but it's way too oldschool to happen nowadays I guess.

Obviously Japan will get it first, it's being made by a Japanese developer, whereas the Prime ones were being made by Retro, a Western developer. Hence why we got those games first, before Japan. Now it's simply the other way around, I see no reason why we'd get Other M before Japan.

Spirit Tracks was made by a Japanese developer and was released in the west first.

NSMBWii was made by a Japanese developer and was releasedin the west first.

Yeah and they were both 1st party games.

Wait... so Team Kunoichi isn't likely to be developing a game with Samus in it?

Not interested.
