So even if sony profits it's not like it's Y100 billion (OP), it Has to be less than that. (NP)

okay lets do this then. all the loses of the ps3 has wiped out all of the sucsess of the ps3 plus more. yeah if you include the xbox 1 losses microsoft is in pritty deep. but i bet you by the end of this gen they will have nearly made up all that the xbox has lost.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

However how you spin it, it is a step in the right direction.

A lot of posters who love to clang on about sony's losses could be disappointed.

This is just an analyst right? So therefore the actual results could be completely different to what is portrated here? We've all seen news stories about a company which 'doesn't match analyst forecasts' and therefore the shares in that company lose value.

Its confirmed that their games division is profitable. No one can say Sony is broke now. Sony is only going up from here with their games division becoming more and more profitable and their 3D tv's coming out.

1- Nothing is confirmed, this is just a prediction of Sony's results (even if it's a prediction from a quite good source, which it is).

2- Profitability in the holiday quarter is much easier than general profitability.

While this is good news if it holds up, it's not as good as you make it look.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
