The week has seen an abundance of new games debut in the overall Australian game charts. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the Xbox 360 took out the coveted number-one position according to data trackers GfK Australia. The PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare took out seventh and eighth, respectively.

The Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock bundle for the PlayStation 2 featured in second place for the first time, whereas the Xbox 360 version took out third spot. Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree (which comes bundled with a Wii Remote) grabbed fourth place. Nintendo's other big release for the Wii last week, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, finished off the week at number 10.

In other chart news, Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron moved up to number one on the PSP chart.

OCTOBER CHARTS - SPAIN

Kamil, it's really the top for october in Spain. For the top of the week 45, we must wait monday or tuesday next week. Intersting to see that the ps3 seems very strong. Even fifa 08 on ps3 do better on pes 2008 on 360 and the ps3 versions are just behind the ps2 version. The wii seems bad, even if metroid is first. But metroid is really behind pes on 360 which so must be not as bad as that.
