Maybe so but, MAG is a true Multiplayer based game 256 players online. Bioshock 2 doesn't have online but your right if it is amazing it might be hard to fight.
I was in both MAG and Battlefield2 Beta i preferred MAG. I found that in Battlefield you can get alot of campers in a game. or a team that rushes through and by the time your spawn your already lost but those flaws most likely will be fixed before the release just like some of mag problems. Which really i didn't find many besides the Knifing which i think they fixed. When you could only knife a crouched person when crouched and laying if your laying.

I felt the same way yuo did. I didn't like the BF2 beta at all.
MAG truly surprised me with the beta. I went in not expecting much at all and honestly I had close to no interest in the game. However after playing it for a little bit I thought it was ok but nothing amazing, but then when I learned a few more things about the game and got a better feel for the controls and gained enough experience to begin modding my character I enjoyed it so much more. It is like the more time you invest into it the more enjoyable it becomes.
I haven't preordered it though and got my beta code by chance thanks to a member on this site, but now I am seriously considering whether or not to get it because for once I have found a shooter besides Unreal Tournament III that I enjoy playing online.
I'll probably wait a bit to see if it builds a decent base and then i'll hop in.
