Same here, I'm really happy for Sony, they finally beat the Wii (even if it is for a short time[we don't know the lasting effect of the 40 gig]). Hope they can keep it up, maybe this will happen every week? Or maybe they'll at least have a higher average 30-40k. I think next week will be better. will have a full week of 40 gig sales to go on.

Next week the PS3 will also outsell the Wii, and possible the week after that.

DW6 will hit 500k by the endo of the year on both platforms, 430k PS3, 70K XBOX 360.

Wow ,it has doubled Wii sales .This is very important for Sony .But more important still would be that the sales ground increased to some 30-35K consoles weekly .PS3 still has two bullets this year in Japan ,with Pro Evolution Soccer 08 and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and some good games to escolt those as Uncharted ,Ratchet and Heavenly Sword.If SIngstar is finally released there they could have another winner there .Then in January it will have some heavy hitters as Devil May Cry 4 and Disgaea 3 .PS3 should keep good sales for some time now .

having played both, you're right.

mario galaxy is more platforming orientated, really addictive gameplay, like super mario 64 on mushrooms (good thing), incredible enviroments. i'd say it's in it's own league.

then you have ratchet which is more combat orientated with less emphasis on platforming. you also have some good humour, very immersive unique planets and really fun gameplay. i'd say it's in it's own league too.

both are fantastic, immersive, beautiful and most importantly fun to play. all the while both in their own leagues. good point.

This freaking arguement is OFFICIALY outdated due to it being 360's price for the first year.

The PS3 really needs to do something to get sales going in the US. Otherwise they will remain number 3 for the rest of this generation.
