i don't hear people talk about "Resistance 2" anymore. People don't even bring up the game in arguments. And it made less then the original "Resistance: Fall of Man. Hell it wasn't even mentioned on IGN's Top 25 PS3 Games. Now i can understand not making it on the list, but how could IGN put "Resistance: Fall of Man" and non-exclusive games instead of "Resistance 2" which got a score of 9.5?

To MANY people, it wasn't as good at the first one and the game also disappointed a lot of people. Even Insomniac noticed the negative fan feedback for the game. They understood the critics enjoyed it, but not so much the fans of the series. That's probably a reason why this game didn't make the top 25

I loved it, and i logged far more hours online with R2 than KZ2.

If they expand on the online co-op with more variety, DLC throw in online co-op for the SP, ill get R3 day one.

Resistance 2 is a very good game, with great graphics, nice story and excellent gameplay. I loved playing it. People talk about Killzone 2 being so awesome, but it is miles above R2.
Resistance 2 is as underrated as Killzone 2 is overrated.

I agree Res 2 was a great game, all it needs is some coop to be a serious contender, but it is in the top 10 shooters this gen in my opinion. It did not get the credit it deserved, Res 3 will be wicked that is one I can't wait for, really want to see what happens with Hail, Hopfully we get this game atleast by Nov of 2010, Killzone 3 I wish would be 2010, but probably 2011.

IGN over scored it IMO its more of an 8.8, R:FOM was great for its time a dark atmosphere, scary moments, interesting wepons, co-op, 40 player online.. R2 lost the plot it lost the atmosphere and the co-op mode was crap, 60 player online didnt work... as a game it was really good i liked it but as a sequel it changed to much, i hope R3 goes back to the R:FOM formula

I didn't think it was anything special personally. A good game yes, but there are many better on the PS3. I did enjoy playing it but it definately felt like a slight disapointment after R:FoM. I actually much perferred Killzone 2 in both its single and multiplayer mode. That said, I'm still looking foward to Resistance 3, especially to see how the story plays out.
