Geoff Keighley: Mass Effect 2 Will Come To PS3, EA Just Can’t Talk About It Yet

PS3 owners have been waiting for a word, any word that would favor the arrival of Mass Effect 2 coming to PS3, however nothing solid has surfaced, only rumors and speculation. Well now it would seem Geoff Keighley has some inside information concerning the game’s arrival on PS3, and how it’s only a matter of time till this happens.

“Now the fact that [Mass Effect 2] is only on Xbox 360, a lot of debate now about whether it makes sense for publishers to make those games exclusive to a platform,” Keighley said, “I think the game will eventually come out for PlayStation 3 but they just can’t talk about it yet.”

Do you think Keighley is right? The game comes out next week for PC and Xbox 360, rumors have it that ME2 has been leaked on torrent sites, if true it could mean tens of thousands in lost dollars for EA and Bioware.

I see it as genre defining...it's truly a work of art.

As for it going to ps3....I highly doubt that....folks been saying for years ME1 was coming too...

As for the torrenting comment in that interview...well...duh....torrent sites are flooded with it...wouldnt be shocked to see it dl well over 300k by release date.

I reckon 96. IT has started great. I expect Gametrailers to score it very high after the comments. Also about the whole going to PS3 thing. Wasn't it Gametrailers who had Patcher in sayng Epic are probably sad now? Maybe it's rubbed off on the staff there. ME2 without 1 is pretty pointless. At least half the experience. And M$ have the publishing rights to ME1.

Serious? i wouldn't be surprised if it came in Blu ray with ME2 lol Nah am playing but theres a possibility of ME2 coming to PS3 though.

Anyway back to topics, I think this game will definitey be 95+ on metacratic no doubt about that, Bioware are one of the best RPG developers out there, DAO was crazy!, ME1 was good and ME2 looks EVEN BETTER! Damn right its in its own league in the RPG Genre, Destroy every WRPG out there. I don't really like to compare ME2 with JRPG because i feel that their different
