As for what I really want from ES V? I'd like them to make the world more alive and interactive than ES IV. They did a phenomenal job at that in IV, but I think they can do better in V, and there are ideas already implemented in other games they could use.

Though, I'll probably wait ~12 months to play it with mods from the beginning, as I will no doubt have issues with the game that modders will fix.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Just make it like ES4: Oblivion with a new area, updated graphics and a ton of new items/things to do and I'll be happy.

Wouldn't Akavir be hard to do, and limit things?

Maybe have Akavir as a possible location of travel... But don't set the entire game there.

Akavir should be at least as large as Tamriel. Maybe even only doing a portion of Akavir would be enough.

Summerset Isle should be fun, lots of magical elves running everywhere!

According to the lore of the series, Akavir is like Tamriel but with a whole group of diffrent creatures and diffrent cultures. IDK if it would work, but I think it has alot of potential to expand upon the ES universe! Regurdless, I think ES 5 will be the *real* oblivion on crack. (looks at Two Worlds)

I just hope its anounced. All i know it will be epic.

A big continent FTW!!! I want huge maps and on-the-fly loading of new sections as you move, like in Morrowind, but this time I pretend continuity between indoor and outdoor so that you can, for example, look outside or inside through the windows and even attack through them, foes can chase you out of dungeons until you can leave them behind or counter-attack or get help, etc. All this requires RAM, next gen will have to have lots of it, as right now it's already dirt cheap and it's a thing even the cheapest entry-level PC's can afford in good quantity.

Part of it has to be in Cyrodiil. They can't leave that MASSIVE cliffhanger, and then tell you to go off to Summerset Isle. So, Cyrodiil + One of the neighbouring provinces.

Also, this isn't "helping Bethesda". Their official forums have had some 50 200-post long threads (that's 10,000 posts) filled with TESV ideas. All OFFICIAL threads.
