I'm having an extremely hard time trying to understand anything you're saying... you may want to put some effort into constructing coherent sentences, grammar and interpunction. Seriously.

I kno kno... Im a pretty fast typer and thinker but im on my PS3 right now, so im thinking faster then I can type which Xxplains my errors..i need to get a keyboard. also im gettin for work so I rushing so just out where i wat i need to re explain |
Oh okay, I see. No worries then. I already figured out what you were saying, it's just that I really had to stop and read it carefully a few times. Well, get a keyboard, man!
*Edit, OT: I think PS360 will see a LOT of the quick-buck shovelware Wii has been getting, and it will probably sell quite well, in the beginning, 'cos for most PS360 owners, it'll be new stuff, plus there won't be as much competition as there is on Wii. However, I think eventually it'll go the same way as the Wii. 3rd Parties just don't learn, all they see is the money, and I can guarantee you they're gonna fart out endless truckloads of minigame compilations, sports games, Wii Fit-clones, and games ending with the letter 'Z' in general.

I disagree... The Wii's cheap production cost is a big factor in why it gets sooo much shovelware.. Cheap + Cheap game = Large profit( assuming it sells), you dont see lots of shovelware on the HD consoles, due to the fact it would be suicide to make Intentionally( not saying HD cant have crappy games) crappy and put it on a HD console where the likes of fooling ppl is pretty much Zero... plus we have the labels of Wii = kiddy/Casual and HD= Core/hardcore.... you wil not seel Ubi soft making the same shit they make for Wii on PS360 or any third party that makes games that play to Wii's supposed image. |
You're right on that. I agree. BUT! Those games 3rd parties will be making for the new motion control devices will be meant to attract new consumers, ones that weren't interested in PS360 before. Right? The so-called casuals. These people generally don't care one bit about hardcore games, intricate storylines, violence etc., the stuff that most 'hardocre' gamers want in their games.
I'm not saying there won't be any 'core' motion games on PS360, obviously there will be, I'm just thinking the number of casual shovelware will outweigh them. Massively. Those games are cheaper to make, and are as of now practically nonexistent on PS360, compared to Wii. There's not really much competition for it, whereas there are TONS of 'core' games. So, naturally, 3rd parties will want to cash in on that. The whole point of Natal/Arc is to entice people that wouldn't normally be interested in either of the HD consoles to pick them up. If 3rd parties keep making the same games they are now ('core' ones), only with motion controls, these new consumers still wouldn't care. Casuals don't care about stuff like God of War, Gears of War, COD, Final Fantasy, Heavy Rain, Halo etc. etc... Implementing motion controls on such games won't change that. At all. Sure, these games will be nice for the current PS360 owners, but they already have those consoles, they don't need to be enticed to buy one anymore. It's the new consumers you want.
So, that's why I think there'll be lots of minigame compilations, sports games (ala Wii sports), fitness games and the likes. Those, coupled with motion controls, are new stuff for PS360. They're different from what's on offer now. The fact that these types of games were practically ALL that were shown when Natal was unveiled at last year's E3, along with the recent rumours of Rare working on a Fitness game, support my point.
