Wtf? Dude...

" The project is wholly funded by Sony Computer Entertainment America. We have a long-term exclusive arrangement with SCEA."

"It's a long-term agreement with Sony"

Not only did I respond to your request for a link but I presented evidence as to what platform the game's going to and which company out of the big 3 has their money and an exclusivity deal on the game.

You presented nothing.

There is no reason to present anything because that article is outdated.....SCEA isnt funding Team Bondi anymore which is evident because Rockstar is publishing this game and not sony.

Game isn't multiplatform until it's announced as multiplatform. That's how it works.

We will find out real soon.

I'm lost here but let see if I am following this thread right as I am somewhat amused.

Rockstar confirming that Sony wholly funding a title and having a contract for exclusivity means nothing, even though seeing as how we have no news yet of this deal going sour it would mean it probably is still in effect.

A SurferGirl blog post rumor saying Sony is no longer funding it means everything, even though seeing a how we have no news yet of this deal going sour it would it probably is still in effect.

Am I following this right?

Your right on the money.

IGN has L.A. Noire in their 360 database. It is titled L.A. Noire (Rumored)

So I would take it that multiplatform is not official yet.

As I said I dont like to keep repeating this and everyone seems to try to dodge this quote but...

"We understand the confusion, to some degree, as the game in question was listed as being released only on the PlayStation 3 by Take-Two Interactive itself at one point. Then, just six-weeks later, the official PlayStation blog brought word of Team Bondi franchise exclusivity. In the blog's defense, it did write that L.A. Noire was not that franchise."

This was the last thing of significance said of the game.....if you can try to explain this one then please do.

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

SONY funded development, and own the IP of Demon's Souls. Also a large portion of the team that developed the game was from SONY Japan yet Atlus published the title in the US.

SONY owns the God of War IP, the developers and fully funds everything for the entire series yet Capcom are publishers for God of War 2 in Japan.

Publishing = Jack shit when it comes to proof.

Exclusivity and funding doesn't automatically mean they're gonna be the publishers of the title.

The buzz was about a secret game. L.A.Noire was already announced for the PS3. This could just as easily mean, "oh, L.A.Noire is exclusive but this isn't the secret exclusive in question".

See what I did there?

Instead of bringing up one blogs post please go ahead and prove that L.A. Noire is multiplatform.

If you can show proof that the deal in which Sony FUNDED the game has gone sour then please do.

That is much more important to your argument then what you're bringing up.

This article was from January 4 2008 .....the "secret game" (The Agent) was first brought attention in july......nice try

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

Also as DGC has stated, L.A. Noire was already announced before the BBC began talking about a "Secret PS3 exclusive".

How can an already announced title be a secret title?

If you can try to explain this one then please do.
